PF classic mushroom OR – Are a rather recent discovery. Renowned mycologist Robert McPherson, who goes by the online handle “Psilocybe Fanaticus” on forums, made the discovery of them in the 1990s (PF). There aren’t many of these mushrooms. They grow fairly easily, but they are difficult to scale.

Impacts Psilocybe Fanaticus

P. cunidosis generally causes a range of symptoms, the most prominent ones being euphoria, insight, and hallucinations. Not every trip is the same.

The factor of choice is also debatable. There is a wide range of opinions regarding PF.

The PF Classic Strain’s Past

PF classic mushroom OR

The PF Classic strain of Psilocybe cubensis has been around for a while. The strain gets its name from his fictitious name, which is PF.

Michigan’s PF Classic Mushroom You may be familiar with Psilocybe Fanaticus, also known as “PF,” from the mushroom community. The person who developed the renowned “PF-Tek” (Psilocybe Fanaticus Technique) cultivation method was also responsible for the development of this strain. McPherson released the PF Classic strain in 1991 along with his ground-breaking PF-Tek cultivation method.

How to Grow PF Classic Mushrooms

PF Classic mushrooms are easy to grow, even for beginners. This technique involves some simple sterile procedures and minimal equipment. It’s pretty easy to get your head around, even if you’ve never grown mushrooms before.

Here’s a quick rundown of the cultivation process using PF-Tek:

1. Inoculating the Substrate

If the smallest amount of bacteria enter the growing environment, they can outcompete the mycelial growth and deem the colonies useless.

2. Incubating the Jars

The jars are ready for the next step when they’re completely white with mycelium.

3. Fruiting the Mycelium

Once the jars have completely colonized with mycelium, they’re ready for fruiting.

After three or four days, the first pinheads will appear — don’t touch these because it can lead to aborts.

4. Preservation and Storage

P. cubensis shrooms mature at different times. They’ll last in these conditions indefinitely, but the potency will begin to degrade after a year or so.

Robert sold this strain for many years via his website, fanaticus.com. His sporadic trading business was first published in High Times Magazine before going online in the early 1990s. He sold the company hundreds of thousands of PF Classic spore samples, bringing in over a million dollars (USD).

Even though Fanaticus.com was completely legal, the US Government looked into it right away. On February 18, 2003, the DEA carried out a violent raid on Robert McPherson’s home, which signaled the beginning.
